Welcome to Diamond State Curling Clubs second annual bonspiel! The 302 Spiel (aptly named for the only Delaware area code) will be a 1-day bonspiel on arena ice at the Patriot Ice Center in Newark, DE. Registration will open on May 1, 2026 at 12:00pm ET and close on May 7, 2025 at 5:00pm ET. Diamond State Curling Club has the right to withhold processing fees in the event of a cancellation Tournament Information Event date: Saturday 6/20/26 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Event location: Patriot Ice Center (101 John Campbell Rd, Newark, DE 19711) Open event, 21 years old and over Three Game Guarantee 20 teams*,** Games will be 6 ends $280 Team Entry Fee Lunch, dinner, and a light breakfast will be served *Following the registration window, Diamond State will accept the first team per club based on timestamp of registration. Teams exceeding this limit per club will be placed on a waitlist. A payment link will be sent via email when the teams are confirmed. **A team will be considered to represent a club if the majority of their players primarily curl in leagues at that club. For teams where clubs are equally represented, the representing club will be determined by the skip's home club. Draw Information The event will have a total of 7 draws. Teams will fall into one of two draw schedules, the Odd Draw will play in draws 1, 3, & 5 and the Even Draw will play in draws 2, 4, & 6. The two draws will meet in the finals in draw 7. Each draw will play their first game as scheduled. The first round seeds a bracket for the remaining draws. The top 4 teams in each draw will be placed in the championship bracket on the path to the A finals. The bottom 6 teams will be placed in the consolation bracket. Rankings in game 1 will be based on record, then total points scored for the tie breaker.
